Our Electric Picnic Experience offers guests an unforgettable opportunity to combine the thrill of electric biking with an immersive journey through the natural, built, and cultural heritage of a historic Irish demesne. (Castlewellan Forest Park)

Highlights of the tour include a visit to a stunning Baronial-style castle, a stroll through the internationally renowned Annesley Gardens, and the challenge of navigating the record-breaking Peace Maze. Guests will also discover the ‘lesser known’ stories and hidden gems of this extraordinary landscape.

After working up an appetite, we take a scenic pause to enjoy a well-earned artisan lunch—served with a view. Featuring a range of local delights that blend traditional and contemporary flavours, this meal is a celebration of the Geopark’s award-winning producers and its rich culinary heritage.

No prior experience? No problem. Our friendly guides provide all the equipment, instruction, and encouragement you need to confidently enjoy this unique cycle sport.

    Embark on a captivating tour through the historic Annesley Estate, exploring highlights such as the Peace Maze, the Castle, the Annesley Gardens (home to the National Arboretum), the Moorish Tower, and a network of scenic trails leading all the way to the panoramic summit of Slievenaslat.
